What is a credit?

1 credit = 1 API call to the TPMN Checker. Each call analyzes your AI-generated text for hallucinations, overclaims, and unverifiable statements.

What happens when my credits run out?

Your API calls will return a "credits exhausted" error. You can purchase a higher tier for more credits, or wait for the GA launch.

What are GA bonus credits?

When GEM²-AI launches GA (general availability), your bonus credits will be transferred to your GA account. For Starter and Builder tiers, any remaining Pre-GA credits also carry over. Founder Cohort members get unlimited credits during Pre-GA plus 5,000 bonus credits at GA. Bonus credits are valid for 12 months from GA launch.

Do I need my own LLM API key?

Yes. GEM² uses your own LLM key (Claude, OpenAI, or Gemini) to perform the truth analysis. Your key is encrypted in the JWT token and never stored on our servers.

Is this a subscription?

No. Pre-GA tiers are one-time payments. GA will offer monthly subscriptions via Stripe.
